Dear Parents House Keeping
Well the season is now begun and it was a shame we were unable to commence it with a win against Aquinas College. However, the next opportunity we get we will reverse this result.
House keeping matters
Gear -– Most players have been issued with a team bag & training T-shirt. These have been kindly sponsored by the “The Lakes”. The bags will remain with the team & the boys get to keep the t-shirt. Our thanks to “The Lakes” for their support.
Polo shirts – New players to the squad have been issued with a Polo-shirt at cost of $31.50. With your approval your account will be debited this amount.
Players or parents who want to order one of these shirts can do so by completing the form below.
After match functions: To help with the organisation of this activity so that we have consistency and stability all boys/families will be invoiced $5.00 for each match we host at home. With this money refreshments & food will be bought for this function. We have hosted 3 teams McLean’s College, John Paul College and Mount College. Please approve the debiting of your account for $15.00
Secondly if you are able to assist with the organisation of the after match function could you please
Contact – Hannelie Freeman ph 552 0733 or h.freeman@beth.school.nz
Sue Haden ph 579 2699 or ds.haden@xtra.co.nz
Calendars- This hasn’t gone away we still have a large number of boys who have yet to return money for these. We want the money – unsold 2008 calendars in June aren’t worth anything. If you are one of these people please contact Sue Haden.
Rugby jerseys: Need parents to volunteer to take & collect rugby jerseys from laundrette on Second Avenue each week. If you think you can help please contact Neil Foote or myself.
Team Manager: We urgently need a manager especially with my departure next term. Neil will need your support as he takes over the full coaching role. If you are able to assist please speak to Neil or myself.
1st XV website: http://bcrugbytrackers.blogspot.com/
Please check this site out as it has all the information you might have questions about. The draw, venue, contact numbers. Etc
NB: Please note that you will also receive a newsletter from the Rugby club asking & explaining team’s fees for 2008. Please note that this newsletter is totally separate and deals with the 1st XV only
